24 Hour Fitness Founder Mark Mastrov Lists Tahoe Getaway For $35M
Mark Mastrov, founder of the 24 Hour Fitness chain, had recently listed his vacation getaway. The luxurious Lake Tahoe property located in Glenbrook, NV, was listed on the market for $35 million.
The businessman had shifted his focus to an investment in the nearby Sacramento Kings basketball league. When he was not doing business though, the Bay Area native used his downtime appropriately with this lakefront retreat.
Mastrov's home sits on 13-plus acres. The main house itself is 13,000-square-foot overall, with a four-bedroom guest home, and a three-bedroom caretaker's lodgings.
The park-inspired surroundings come with a spa and pool that overlook the beach, a private boathouse, and a shared pier. The picturesque details are framed by a tranquil lake and expansive mountain views, a trout pond, a covered bridge, waterfalls, and a clean white-sand beach. The property also has a three-hole course and practice green, according to Realtor.com.
Listing agent Trinkie Watson said the properties was very special for Lake Tahoe. According to the agent, the compound was completed in 1998 and was designed and built by the previous owner. It had since been upgraded and maintained as needed. Watson noted that the home was move-in ready and furnishings were included, according to Daily Mail.
The fitness tycoon bought the home 10 years ago for $25 million. Mastrov said he is selling the property because his kids have matured and no longer spend time at the getaway. He said that the whole house was beautiful, including the setting and the landscape.
Mastrov also pointed out that the home comes with a multi-use dormitory, four additional suites, a game area, a private theater, a mini bar, a butler's pantry and a wine room. The 24 Hour Fitness chain CEO also claimed that it was the perfect home for entertaining family members and big group of friends.
